Can any one tell me whyyou chose one over the other?
We are trying to decide which one to use to abnk our baby's cord blood, any pros & cons you can think of would be helpful.
TIA

Re: Viacord vs CBR???
I chose ViaCord because they are heavy into research - parent co. is ViaCell. So I know my $$ is not just going to storage, it is going into advances in the field.

I used Viacord too. I don't have a specific reason but it was the one that seemed to be the most well known.

I chose viacord as well... for a variey of reasons.....my doctor advised they are the only company that had a succesful transplant completed, they invest money into research and studies and their collection methods seem to be more advanced....

Re: Viacord vs CBR???
I am going to look into whether ViaCord is the only choice for use with a C-section. They say that their bags are the only ones with FDA approval for C-section use. They don't come out and say that other companies' products can't be used in C-sections and the other companies do not address this on their websites. I am definitley having a C-section, so this is crucial. I will be calling as many companies as I can but I may go back to ViaCord. Anyone who has info about my question, let me know!!!
