Victoria Beckham Dishes on TomKat and Her Dreams of Making a Baby Posh
Victoria Beckham owes a lot to Britney Spears. Like her privacy.
“The paparazzi kind of figured out that we’re quite boring and Britney’s far more interesting, so they go to her house,” Beckham told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Thursday.
That's fine with Beckham, 33, who prefers hanging out with “her really nice friends” -- like Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Eva Longoria, “who went with me to get my nails done, my hair done.”
Despite primping with such A-listers, the woman also known as Posh Spice told DeGeneres that she’s just a normal mom to sons Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 2
“I think [my kids] think all mommies are Spice Girls and all daddies play soccer,” she says. “That’s just the way they were taught.”
And, minor cultural shocks aside, the Beckham boys are adjusting well to American life after their July move from the U.K.
“The first day of school for Brooklyn was quite interesting,” says the author of the new style guide, That Extra Half an Inch. “His teacher was trying to relax him and said, ‘Do you collect anything?’ He said, ‘Yes, I collect rubbers.’” (In England, erasers are called rubbers.)
DeGeneres joked of the miscommunication, “It’s not a bad idea for him to start collecting those things right now though...it’s early, but he’s going to be popular. Look at his parents.”
Beckham also told Ellen that she and husband, L.A. Galaxy star David, are hoping to expand their brood. We “would like a girl. It would finish up the family...but I have a big tour coming up and I don’t want to get pregnant.”
In the meantime, “We’ll do the practicing!” she laughed.
The Spice Girls tour – their first time performing together since 2000 – kicks off Dec. 5 in Los Angeles.

yeah i thought she was adorable on ellen. i don't understand why people dont like her.
I didn't like her until she started doing press, and she is soooo cute. Her image and pictures are very misleading. She is adorable!
