Video: Child Drowning PRevention WOW ! *PLEASE WATCH!!***

I know summertime is over, but this is something we should keep in mind all year round. and since I just recd this fwd email, I have to share.. it just stuck with me and totally amazed me.

All I have to say is WOW. This is absolutely incredible.

Ive never seen a video of this. An infant trained to survive in the water. For well over 5 minutes, on his back, breathing.

Moms- please be warned, NOTHING terrible happens in this video, Thank God, but as a mom, you will be on edge the whole time. I shook while I watched the whole thing, wanting to grab the baby to help him..
but he did an outstanding job saving himself..

Just proceed with a mindset of learning what is available out there to teach our children.. this was incredible...

Has anyone seen a child specifically trained this way.. wow..

Oh my gosh I had chills watching that but how AMAZING!!!!!
We took safety swim and they stress a technique called pop-ins where they teach the child when they fall in to close their mouth immediately find the wall and hold on.
then when they have enough upper body strength they show how to get out of the pool in stages like get from hands on side to elbows on sidewalk, push to tummy and pop out of pool. I guess any survival skills are great when it comes to pools that is why I started DS so early (11 months) This technique looks amazing though I would like to find it somewhere!
