We have the summer infant too and heard amazing things about it!!!! Got very high ratings. BRU was out of it when we went and we had to backorder.

We have the summer one as well. I first had the Safety 1st one...hated it. So we returned it for the summer monitor.

I have the summer model too and LOVE it. I think mine is an older model (about 3 years old) and the only bad thing was that the sound stopped working after about a year. I love the video feature though.

Question - is the monitor a handheld or the larger "tv" type monitor??? Also can you hook it up to 2 bedrooms?

It's a small black and white tv monitor. The camera mounts on the wall or can be placed on a nightstand. The camera swivels to get the perfect angle. I think that it only works with the one bedroom.

It's possible to hook up to your tv, but you need someone who is really good with electronics. I used to work with someone whose DH somehow hooked it up to their tv on a channel that isn't being used by the cable. they leave the monitor channel in their picture in picture and watch regular tv. They are having their second and he's going to connect the second room on another channel and they can flip back and forth.
