Vineyards today

Wow was that fun. We have done it before, but this time was really a lot of fun.

We started out at Castello de Borghese, then went to Raphael, then to Shinn Estates Winery (thanks to a recomendation from someone on here).

Borghese was good, kind of not so fancy, good wine, great time. We were looking for something a little dressier to show our friends from the city who had never done this before, so we went to Raphael. We've been there a few times before and it was just as good. Then we went to Shinn Estates Winery. They were really good. They have the cutest border collie there and cat. They have an organic approach to their wine making and we had never been introduced to that so it was very interesting. The owner of the place gave us the tour. We wound up getting a few bottles from Shinn to add to our new wine closet.

We then went to Harbes farms for some roasted corn and the NYC ladies bought some pumpkins. Finished it all off with an awesome steak at Boulder Creek.
