Vionics shoes
Anyone buy this brand of shoes? Are they helpful in a case of plantar fasciitis?
Any other brand that might help?

Vionics shoes
IMO They are the BEST for PF. I only wear these or my custom insoles in New Balance running shoes for workout. I went from not being able to walk, and now I'm able to go barefoot for period of time if I need to.
Sole Provisions is a retailer on Long Island that offers them. Stores in Babylon and Wading River (I think). So you can go there and try them on. If you dont want to go they have free shipping both ways and you can try for 30 days and return. They are expensive, but they are worth it. I wear my 'work' pair 5x a week, but wont need to buy new for a year. I have a pair of slippers I've been wearing for 2 years at least with no breakdown.
Just remember to break them in, as they will feel weird since the footbed is very pronounced. Wear them only a few hours and work your way up to the full day.

Re: Vionics shoes
Thanks! Yeah I figured I’d just buy a pair and return if need be
I went looking for sneakers today. Went to runners edge in farmingdale. They were so helpful and I bought two pairs. I’m trying one around the house now but I’m now gonna lie they feel weird.
I have on the Nike zoom structure and gonna wear the Mizuno adrenaline around later on
I can’t tell if they feel weird cuz they’re not comfortable around my (pronated) heels or if cuz I always wear dinky adorable flat sneakers
Friggin 40 lol

Re: Vionics shoes
I bought a pair when my PF was at it's worst. They are not necessarily comfortable when you first wear them, but your foot will adjust. I do think it helps with my PF, but as my PF has resolved, I don't wear my Vionics anymore. They are very expensive so one pair was enough for me.

Re: Vionics shoes
They are the best! Mine was so bad, I started to exclusively wear the Tide model flip flop from Vionic and it literally cured it within days. I have a few pairs of their regular shoes but don't love them as much as those flip flops. I like that the inserts can be removed and put in any shoe though. It has been starting up again so I am wearing my Tides around the house. They are the only thing that gives me relief. I've been singing their praises for years and agree with the above I HATED them when I first got them but they will become comfortable. DOn't give up easily. Good luck, I know how that sh!t hurts! And yes, After 40 it's all downhill LMAO. I also recently had my first root canal and got strong reading glasses. SUCKS!
