Virginia Beach in November?
DH & I are planning to go away for a few days to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary.
Since I did all the "hard" work planning the wedding, I asked DH to plan our anniversary trip.
He'd like to go to Virginia Beach.
We're not really big "beach people" so we won't be sad that it'll probably be too cold to sun-worship
Any suggestions on things to do there in November? Probably the 2nd week.
Thanks!!!

Re: Virginia Beach in November?
Honestly I live 30 mins from VB & to me there is not that much to do. There are some nice resturants & the boardwalk is nice.
Catch 31 We like this resturant.
This website maybe some help. VB

Re: Virginia Beach in November?
I wouldn't go to VB in November. It's cold, and a lot of the fun stuff to do there in the summer is all closed down. It's a much better destination in the warmer months.

Re: Virginia Beach in November?
VB is dead in November. It's a very transient area and all of the fun things that are open during the summer close down until next season. I've been there in September / October and even then things are basically closed down... I'm also not a beach person at all, but I was really bored there in the fall.

Re: Virginia Beach in November?
I was thinking maybe we'd take a day trip and go to Colonial Williamsburg?
And maybe some museums?
A lighthouse?
And then ... I'm out of ideas ...
But I figured staying down by the beach could be relaxing????
