If you're close to having your period definitely take something because you'll be extra sensitive. I've never had it waxed with my period but they are used to everything

It's kind of normal for me too- so it didn't shock me.
In fact, before I had my daughter I could go 6 months without a period.
Having her regulated me somewhat but I still have my months were I take 12 pregnancy tests(and pray and pray and pray that they are negative) because AF is so darn late!
