Waiting for second interview**UPDATE**

I went on an interview exactly one week ago and still have not heard anything....good or bad. In the interview they asked me if I was going to be around in the next couple of weeks as there is a second interview and they want to appoint someone by Aug. 25th. They also mentioned that I would hear from them either way.

Given how late in the summer it is, should I count myself out? Would you be worried?

I'm for good news and left the interview with a good feeling. However, as more time passes I'm losing steam...

**UPDATE**
Today is Wednesday and I still haven't heard a peep! No phone call or letter! This is an LI district and they want to appoint someone in 1 week (8/25). My friend suggested I give them until Friday (8/19) and then call them. What do you think?

This would be an amazing opportunity in a very nice district.

I think you still have some time! I went on an interview last week and was told they'd contact people in 2 weeks as they had some administrative hiring to do first. Today I was called in for two more interviews at other schools..one tomorrow and one next Monday. Last year I was called in for an interview the week before school started. Good luck :)
