Yeah he called around noon, sorry my power went out and then I was taking a nap because I cried myself exhausted.
Out of 16 eggs only 8 were mature and only 4 of those fertilized. Now I'm just hoping at least 1 or 2 will hold on until sunday. I've accepted that we probably won't have anything to freeze but I won't be able to handle none making it to transfer.

Sunday is the transfer, they put the embryos back in to my uterus. The numbers aren't great because of those 4 they all may not make it until Sunday. And even if they do, we'll have 2 to put back and 2 to freeze if this time doesn't work. And then when they go to thaw the 2 there is a chance they won't make it through that. We were really just hoping for a few more to fertilize.

if there is anything i have learned from this painful journey of infertility, its that whatever you hoping for/expecting, the reality of the outcome tends to be quite different - both good and bad. hang in there!! 4 is still better than 3, 2 , 1 or none!!!

sending prayers to the little embies. keep your chin up.
My first ivf cycle there was only one egg and it made it fine. The second ivf, there were 5 eggs and only one fertilized and it made it to transfer. I have a good feeling about this for you.
Your re should be calling today just to let you know status of them. If not, then you are always free to call and ask how they are doing.

i know it's disappointing but have faith!
I had 30 eggs taken at my ER! and only 12 fertilized. out of those 12, 11 made it to cleavage. I did PGD and after that was left with only 4 embies as well. I had to do a day 5 transfer and all four embies made it, i transferred two, and both took! I got to freeze the other two, but one of the frozen ones is poor quality.
i know it's hard bc when i was going through it, i was losing my mind, but we're all praying for you and hoping those embies stay strong!
