Walk-In Closet Color Scheme to compliment MB

We're building an extension on the house for a large walk-in closet at the back of our master bedroom. Our master bedroom is painted BM Yarmouth Blue & our MB furniture is black. We don't plan on changing that furniture anytime soon. We have accents of a beige/ taupe color in the room b/c of our striped curtains & upholstered chair.

So my question is, what color cabinets/shelving do I go with in the walk-in closet? I'm thinking painting the walls the beige/taupe accent color from the bedroom. I don't want to do the blue into the closet. But would you go with brown shelves/cabinets even if I have black furniture right outside that door?

I don't think the fact that you have black furn outside the closet will matter. I've even seen brown wood furn in the same room as black (meaning, like a chocolate brown wood color). I think it would compliment the room nice and everything won't be so matchy-matchy if you break up the wood color a bit. I mean, you aren't going with white so I think it'll still flow nice.
