Re: Wall Art/Decor?
Are there any wall hangings that are sold to match your crib bedding?
I would consider making a nice family photo collage in a baby style frame.

Re: Wall Art/Decor?
we are making the wall art. I am taking some old calligraphy-type drawings & making the matting for them out of the toile fabric that we are using for the bedding & curtains (if I ever get around to friggin buying it!)

I am designing text that will travel around the room in a wave-like fashion. I will lay it out on the computer and get an adhesive made. It will be done in an accent color of the room. I will take pics when it is all done.

Re: Wall Art/Decor?
we used the alphabet cards by eeBoo- we put them around the room like a border...
we used these- but they have a bunch of different ones:
They were $26 or so for the whole box... we put them up with fun-tak

Re: Wall Art/Decor?
Here's a few things we did in our little nursery. Havent posted pics yet - need to get batteries for our camera.
(we rent and chose not to paint the white walls - so we tried to get a lot of color on the walls through decor, etc.)
1. we hung chinese lanterns from the ceiling (without the bulbs) in a variety of colors - I think we have 13 of them hanging - bought them in china town for like a dollar each. We did it by the crib - but it could look pretty in a corner by a chair.
2. We also bought fabric that we liked and stretched it over a wooden frame (bought the frame at michaels). Stapled it over the frame (they do it on trading spaces all the time - that's where I got the idea) and we now have a pretty big color block on the wall.
3. We got married in december of 05 and have a lot of black and white photos from the reception that we like - we chose 3 photos of the grandparents and hung them in black frames with white matting. I liked the idea of photos of the grandparents in the room and there is a great one of DH's dad dancing with this huge smile on his face.
4. I took the cover off one of my favorite children's books - THIS IS NEW YORK and matted it and framed it. I love the picture and thought it would make a nice, unexpected piece of artwork. I think it came out great.
this is the cover - I remember reading it as a child and I like the bright colors.

Those are some good ideas! The Fabric one and the book cover might work in the space.
Thanks for sharing!
