I did borders in my DD's rooms. They went up easy and were easy to remove when I re-did their rooms later!
That theme sounds so cute!

oh awesome thanks phyl !
my 4yr old is OBSESSED with buzz (over 2yrs now )
and he's getting my 18month old all into it too
but theyre so darn cute with their imaginative sound effects, and repeating the songs and movie lines, etc. (well the older one ) my 18month old just goes "BBBZZZZ, BTTHHHH BZZZZZZZ"
Im also getting them all three matching buzz PJs (my oldest ( 5 1/2) could care less, but he has to play along because his brothers idolize him

I personally would use the self adhesive kind. I know in the past I've done the pre-pasted and it rips off the paint and the drywall. I have seen Disney themed self adhesive borders at Kmart and Walmart so they may have Buzz.

I had the exact Buzz border that you are considering (pretty sure anyway) and it was cute. Im not sure about how easily it comes down bc we gutted the room eventually and that's how our Buzz border came down. But I did have a border in T's room when she was smaller and she ended up pulling half of it down on me ( but she was only newly 2 yrs at the time so I'll cut her a break) and it didn't do any damage. Other than to my nerves. I can't believe he's still into Buzz! Not that it's not a cute character but kids move onto new things & characters at that age. How cute though, does the Halloween costume still fit him for this year? LOL

funny that you asked about the costume I just ordered him a new one he constantly wears it around the house, at random, even last summer when it was 95 degrees outside. he's gotten into other things, but Buzz quickly takes precedence. There's a magic twinkle in his eyes and a trip when he runs kind of excitement (you know what I mean ) when anything involves Buzz.
Buzz is our year-round santa we've got undies, sneakers, slippers, jackets, stickers, you name it.
i tried to do a DIFFERENT theme bday party last year (march 07), thinknig he was going to outgrow buzz... (did baseball theme).. he could have cared less.. and then even wanted to be buzz for the 2nd halloween last year (07)..
It's kinda cute. Ive taken a liking to the guy myself you had to see him in Disney last year was worth every dime.
and just the difference between my boys is what makes it so fun and so cool. my older "the intellect" never really went through this "magical" phase he's busy mastering classical music by ear on the piano
ETA: I will give my N some credit, in addition to Buzz, Im proud of him at how he's mastered doing puzzles. FAR beyond what big brother can do or has any interest in doing. and he has quite a nack for doing them! N is the puzzle pro and will tell the whole world.

BTW - how did she reach the border to tear it down
Liz- now we're laughing over our 3 monkeys, but one day we'll be crying, missing their craziness
there's a reason JA reminds my mom of a squirrel or a snake. he's faster than the speed of eyesight

Re: wall borders in kids rooms ? (help quick lol)
There were borders up in our apt, in the nursery & it took EVERYTHING we had to get that down...DH worked on it for 5 hours one day, scraping & sanding, etc. NOT FUN.
We bought DD a new border to put up when we redid her room, you just had to add water & stick it. It was a lot easier said than done...it was very hard to attach in long strips & once its wet it was easy to rip...he put them up, but said never again. We moved into our house 3 months later & now DD has wainscotting in lieu of the border.
I say go for it though.

The self adhesive is more like a sticker and if you it's uneven, you can take it back off and re-position. I love it!

I agree-although, if you use the water and paste type you can probably remove it with a steamer..or DIF.
Did you look at wallies.com?

It was a Mommy mistake---I thought it would be cute to put it halfway up the wall. She started tearing it down literally the first night it was up.
I keep trying to remind myself that one day they will barely want to give me the time of day, they'll be too busy. Esp when I am cooking and I have all of them underfoot or wake up in the AM pinned between 2 little bodies that somehow make their way in in the wee hours of the AM.

i put them up 2x and took them down. scalding hot water in a spray bottle does the trick. Have fun! I'm sure he'll love it!
