Want to buy a sling....do you like any better than the Moby Wrap?

I really like the Moby Wrap but just wanted to double check with the ladies before I order one......is there any one you like better? And if so, why?

I like a Rockin baby sling that I have, but I don't find it as easy now as I did when Immi was a baby. I am getting tutorials on using one thats like a Storchenwiege, but I am not getting the hang of it so well!!

Also, because I want to use a sling to carry Immi when I travel home to the states, my friend is bringing a Mei Tai type carrier!

I have heard good things about mei tai's and I see women with older kids in them too-so its nice you can use it for a while-though I don't know how I would feel with the infant in that sling. I like the moby because you can put them facing your chest from very little rather than cradle hold

I was an am happy with my hotsling. Never tried any others so I couldn't compare.

here is a cut and paste from another post I answered:

For a straight up sling I like the balboa the best, but I don't feel it grows with your baby. After my DS got a bit heavier it hurt my back too much to use.

The Peanut shell I am not a huge fan of the sizes. They are sort of in between for me, so I could never put DS in the cradle hold, but I love it now to wear him on the hip. If the sizes work for you this might be a great option.

My favorite is the Moby wrap, BUT it is a lot of fabric and can be very hot to use for both you and baby, but I feel it is the best for my back and is the most versatile.

DS LOVES the Bjorn, but I never felt comfortable using is as a newborn because he did not turn his head.

The Ergo has an infant insert that I never had. I JUST got this one, and have been using it on my back for hiking.

I just got the baby k'tan. My friends son loves it
