Want to help us choose what cruise we go on:)

We had one booked but they are no longer bringing that ship to Miami so we have to choose a new one.

I re booked another with Carnival because we have had really good experiences with them and plus we have their credit card and have points towards them but now we are torn.

We are going without our kids (will have 2 by then) so we want to do a lot at the ports, no shopping.

We are stuck between these 2:

7-Day Western Caribbean on Norwegian
Norwegian Jewel
Embarkation Port: Miami
Ports of call: Miami; Roatan; Belize City; Costa Maya; Great Stirrup Cay

or this one which we are booked on now. And went on this ship in May and liked it a lot.

Carnival Miracle

Departs: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Itinerary: Western Caribbean: Ft Lauderdale, FL ; Fun Day At Sea ; Fun Day At Sea ; Colon, Panama ; Limon, Costa Rica ; Fun Day At Sea ; Belize ; Fun Day At Sea ; Ft Lauderdale, FL

If you want to do more sight seeing then I think the first one.
I prefer the days at sea so I would pick the Carnival again.

Do a little research on the ports of call for each itinerary, and the excursions that are available at each port. Since this seems to be the focus of your trip.

The ships are comparable in size and passenger cpacity. The Jewel is a year younger than the Miracle.

The cruise lines themselves are also comparable (YMMV), so to me, it all depends on the itinerary.

I would go on their websites and check out the excursions first before deciding. Make sure there are things you want to do in each port....that is what I tell my clients when they can't decide what cruise to pick
