Want to learn how to crochet

Hi ladies, this is my first time posting on this board. I am interested in learning how to crochet while I await the birth of my twins. Does anyone know of a beginner class, or good book to learn from? TIA

I just restarted crocheting and had to borrow a bunch of books. The ones I recommend the most are:

The Crochet Answer Book
Teach Yourself Visually Crocheting
Stitch n b*tch crochet

I got them all from the library. Have fun!!

I second the Stitch and B*tch book!

Also, you tube is helpful.

You tube is awesome. I had lots of trouble figuring it out from the 1 dimensional illustrations in books, but being able to watch someone actual do the stitch is priceless. There's lots of good you tube tutorials out there!
