want to share some exciting news and some ??? UPDATE

NO i'm NOT pg!


josh has been peeing on the potty for the last 2 days all day! he actually initiated this on his own and i just threw in an insentive (mini helicopter he can play with if he pee's and then 'land' it in the bathtub soap holder.)

i'm kinda not ready for this though (he just turned 25 months today and although he's pee'd on the potty before i only asked before his bath.)

i potty trained a gazillion kids when i taught preschool but that's easier than this.

so...

~what do you do when you're out at a park for a few hours? the bathrooms are nasty and i don't want to bring a seat.

~do they still make those pull ups that have velcro, like a diaper? (dh bought the pampers but it doesn't have the velcro option.)

~how long from when your dc pee'd till they pooped on the toilet? (i'm 'bribing' with a beta fish. )

UPDATE!!!

josh pooped in the potty yesterday! he pee'd, got off, and then ran back and said he needed to do more. and then BAM! we were so excited that i actually took out the video camera! he will KILL me when he's older. (such a jon and kate episode minus the fighting.)

so we got him a beta fish right after and named it Poopie.

We have a similar seat to this one:

It folds in quarters, so it's very small and easy to carry.
