actually, I think I might have one in my basement - I have to find out what the story is with it - it might be all rusted but I'll look into it...

My cousin just found one and sprayed it with lubricants. Works like a charm, even with the rust!

If you can't get a used one, HD has several new ones available. They're starting to come back in popularity for their "green" characteristics. $80-$110

Oh scott! i had one in my first home in lindy. i got it at a yard sale. i had a 40X80 lot with a bungalow on it, it was PERFECT! until i met DH, and he was hearing nothing of it... so, that went to the curb and the full powered mower was brought in.
oh i hope you use it! i loved it. so therapeutic!

I got one in mint condition at a yard sale a couple of years ago. Its a newer model & it works great. Try yard sales.

if your still looking for one the lowes in Stony brook has a brand new one that someone returned so it doesn't have the box $50! looks really nice but its the only 1 at that price

I actually got an almost new one for $20 from a LIF member. It also has the grass catcher but I don't use it
