Wanted to share a cute little story...
Since Cailen had his dr. appt at 12, I decided to hang out with him in Huntington, went to my favorite bagel place, and got a sesame bagel with tofu vegetable cream cheese. I haven't had one since I was pregnant with him. When I had morning sickness, it was the only thing I could keep down, for some reason, and I craved them like crazy throughout my pregnancy.
Well, now that Cailen is eating cereal, he watches me very closely when I eat. But this time he watched me take each bite of my bagel, and even made chewing motions with his mouth 
So, I'm thinking... hmmm 
I dab my finger into a non-vegetable area of cream cheese - literally a teeny little dab, and bring it to his lips. He licked it clean off my finger!!! 
So... I did it again... suuuuck.... right off my finger... his whole mouth is all cream cheesy.... soo cute....
I guiltily told Dr. Cavanaugh at our appt thinking he was going to say I shouldnt have done it... he laughed and told me it was perfectly ok....

That is a cute story! Thanks for sharing!! Bet you were expecting some lashes after other posts!!
I confess, I did this with DS, but with ice cream!! He loved it, then again I love ice cream, so what kid of mine wouldn't!
PS, Love all the pics you've been sharing! He is so adorable!!! I love his laid back look!!

Adorable wish you had pictures.
I know what you mean about him following you with every bite. Kara does the same thing to me. I feel so guilty eating in front of her.

I LOVE giving DS grown up food! I'm not  about it! He likes it more than the baby food LOL! The other night he tried Grandma's meat balls for the first time, we put little pieces on his high cair tray and he fed them to himself! He's really getting the hang og it now- my little 7 month old genius LOL!

I confessed to Dr. Cavanagh giving Roman a pb&j sandwich at like 9 months. He just laughed at me. We all experiment with our DC a little.

We often do that. We'll be eating something, and just break off little pieces for DD. Pretty much anything and everything (as long as it was relatively age appropriate.) We don't have any family history of food allergies, so we gave some things before the "official" time, but pretty close.
Now, DD doesn't really eat jarred food. She's 14mo, and definitely prefers eating what we eat. Much cheaper that way, so I'm not complaining...

Cute. Paige watches me also, but for some reason does not like baby food. I gave her a lick of icing from my cupcake the other day and she seemed to like it.
Give her some veggies and fruit and she closes her mouth. Go figure!!!!
