War of the Roses
Did anyone hear War of the Roses this morning ok KTU? It was so sad. You actually felt the hurt in the poor woman's voice.
I got the impression that her husband was FDNY and he went down to New Orleans to help out and ended up meeting a woman. He sent the roses to the woman. I felt horrible for the wife - the husband was so cold to her.

Re: War of the Roses
I can't believe that people are still falling for it.
Do you think they are real?
This was one of the only ones that I actually felt that it was real.

Re: War of the Roses
I heard it this morning. I felt really bad for this woman. I always think that if someone is not happy in a relationship, they should talk their partner and tell them what's going on. It saves me so much hurt. I think it would have helped for this lady to know if he was the one to tell her instead of her finding out this way... I felt really sad for her....

From KTU.COM
Baltazar & Goumba test the limits of relationships. If you suspect your mate is cheating, the War of the Roses is the ultimate test! Brand new episodes of War of the Roses air every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:05 a.m., 7:05 a.m. and 8:05 a.m.
Basically they call up the suspected cheater and they say you have won a free dozen roses, who would you like to send them to and what do you want the card to say? And then they either catch the cheater or they don't.

Re: War of the Roses
KTU radio (103.5) calls people and says that they are Ted Johnson from Red Roses.com and they are offering a free promotion and these people have been selected to win free roses and they can send to anyone in the US. However, what the person doesn't know is that they are being set up by a loved one who suspects they are cheating. So they call the people and ask them to send roses, usually the person falls for it and sends it to their lover instead of the person who set up the call. So basically it's a way of finding out if your SO is cheating on you. You can't believe how many people get caught.

Re: War of the Roses
Speaking of Satellite Radio. How much is it? How does it work? Does it only work in one car, is it something that you have installed in your car?
Sorry for sounding so uneducated on it but I'm just curious. Thanks.

Re: War of the Roses
They make satellite radios that get installed in your car... just for your car. Or they make more "portable units" that can be taken from the car and used at home as well.
I would go to Best Buy or someplace like that and speak to a sales guy. They can give you all the details in person.
Satellite Radio is $12.99 a month I believe. I recommend XM.
