I know you said no Uggs but have you looked at their slippers? From reading the reviews it seems that you can wear them outside and they look awesome.

Ok let me start by saying I HATE Crocs, but 2 years ago my feet were so swollen at this time being pg I HAD to get a pair of warm shoes I could go sockless with and that slipped on since I couldn't bend over anymore
Fleece lined Crocs. No joke. I HATE the design and style but sweet lord I LOVE these shoes! They are chocolate brown with a pink lining. Bought at Macy's 2yrs ago. They are my go to in the fall and winter. Plus if you do wear socks you stay so warm you really can wear them in the bitter cold.

I have these and they are so warm and comfy!
People do think they're slippers though I usually wear these and then change into real shoes at work or at a friend's etc
