WARNING - EZ pass phishing scam, account in arrears
Just got an email that looked legit that my ez pass acct was in arrears for driving on a toll road (and not paying). Did not click in. Logged into my ezpass acct, it's fine, nothing owed. Called them and they confirmed it's a scam.
FYI- since email looks real!

I got that last week! It even had a date on mine, but I knew it was a scam because I wasn't even living in NY according to the date that was posted.

DH got the same e-mail a few days ago. Funny thing was, we were driving to Boston, so I said maybe we missed a toll or something. But, we were ok.

I've been getting those in my spam. Funny thing is that our EZ Pass is not linked to my email at all.

I got it as well - my EZ pass isn't in my name so I knew it was a scam right away but, it did look legit.

I got that same email last week. Knew it was a scam because:
1. Went into my spam folder when others come into my regular inbox
2. From email address was different
3. We haven't used our EZ Pass in many months

I didn't even open it and instead went to the ezpass website to see if it was a scam and they had it on their home page that it is a scam and to not open the email.
