Was 5ofClub's thread removed? The one about remembering posters?
Did it get ugly? Lots of disappearing threads lately.

I think someone posted earlier on another thread that was deleted.. that if they feel it was to turn into drama they will remove it.

So does that mean they will start deleting posts about BF/FF and CIO vs. Non CIO, immunizations, etc.?
EVERY thread has the potential to turn into drama, but if it isn't ugly, it shouldn't be deleted. What a silly policy.

That's definitely true but until it does, I would err on the side of trusting posters to act appropriately.
We have millions of threads that don't turn into drama and only a few that do.
It seems really silly to delete something because it may implode.

I agree. Until a thread starts to go downhill, I see no reason to delete it.
Very strange...

And this one wasn't even close to imploding. No names were mentioned or anything... I don't get it

I just noticed that. Huh-that one looked like it would die out on it's own-no drama or anything.
I have a feeling this one may get pulled too-for talking about the threads we shall not name.

The policy, as I understand it, is IF a thread gets pulled b/c it is filled with drama, any subsequent posts that make reference to the pulled thread then get yanked b/c they are more likely than not to incite the original drama. As for the BF/FF and CIO vs. Non CIO - those get pulled as soon as the drama starts and it gets reported.

But this thread wasn't pulled due to drama- there was no drama on it. So that rule should not apply here. ...

There may not have been drama on that particular post - but it was started in response to drama elsewhere and another thread that had been pulled.

Ah HA! I missed that part. I didn't realize there was another thread involved. Makes more sense now!

The saddest thing on this thread is that when I see CIO I think Cheif Information Officer... I am like why would the CIO cause drama?? Oh boy...
Can you tell I don't have kids?

Re: Was 5ofClub's thread removed? The one about remembering posters?
I will say one thing-If we cannot have normal, healthy ADULT debates without naming names or specific behaviors then what is the purpose of this board? This board will be a real fest without debate. And I am NOT talking about drama. For anyone that read my post on Parenting(that was pulled) I didn't even feel that was drama. I talked about a general feeling not one specific action or person.

I asked my cousin who is a mommy and she said it's- Cry it out- when you let the baby cry itself back to sleep. LOL
Oh and I also thought BF meant Best friend or boyfriend and FF meant friends forever...

Holy Crap thats how I read BF. Which, is silly cause on parenting when I see it I know it breast feeding. I guess cause it was on NFR.
Thanks for the calrification on CIO.. I am so not a mommy. I was so when I read that.
