Was anyone elso on a boat at Zachs Bay during the storm yesterday?
It was the scariest 30 minutes of my life. I felt like I was in the Perfect Storm or something. We had 9 boats all tied up together, and when the storm was over, all 9 boats did a total 180 degree rotation. One of our boats got struk by lightening and lost all of its electrical. It's going to be over $10,000 to fix

i am sorry you had to go through that ! i would have been just as scared! a boat can be replaced(yeah it will be exspensive) but a life is not! i am glad all where ok!

wow- that's why Jake yells at me to be prepared every time we go out on the boat
it was scary in my building- I am just glad everyone is ok-

No I refused to go out on the boat yesterday. I'm glad everything turned out OK

OMG! Are you serious? We even said we bet Zachs Bay was gonna be crowded....but I never thought that would've happened. That is so crazy and Id be scared as h e l l. I know what you mean by the Perfect Storm. Sorry to hear all that damage, wow, but at least everyone was safe.

It was so weird how after the storm was over, all of a sudden the skies opened up and it was gorgeous out. All the kids went back on the tubes and jetskis and we fired up the bbq.
So Strange.
We were all able to laugh about after b/c noone was hurt, but it sure was a sight to be seen.
I just feel bad for anyone that didn't have a cabin to hide in. It just came out of nowhere.
