Was anyone nervous before their first dr appt?
My first appointment is Feb 8th and I can't help but to have this feeling of nervousness that something is not right. I know that might sound terrible...I guess everything is just so unknown right now.
I just can't wait to go and find out everything is ok.

Kind of. My first appointment is tomorrow (I am 8w1d) and I am nervous too.
I took several HPTs and went to an "urgent care clinic" to confirm the positives because it didn't seem official until a doctor told me so and my regular doctor couldn't see me.
However it still won't seem "authentic" to me until I receive my OBGYNs stamp of approval and confirm that they see/hear something in the sono tomorrow.

Yes, and before the 12 week visit and before the 16 week visit--I think I'm *finally* comfortable now at 23 weeks!

I was very- so much so that I delayed it for 2 weeks- I'm still a nervous wreck at almost 24 weeks

I feel the same way! The waiting is ABSOLUTELY torture! I am so jealous of the girls that have gotten appts in their 5th or 6th week! But I am sure everything is progressing just PERFECTLY for both of us

Yes - and I still get very nervous a few days before each appointment. It's totally normal - and I'm sure that everything is just fine!!!

I am very nervous until my first sono. I'm scared the baby isn't in the uterus. My first sono is on Monday at 8w4d.

I'm so nervous I didn't even make the appt yet. I had a chemical pg 6 wks ago & the dr's visits & blood tests really stressed me out. So this time I will wait until I'm closer to 8 wks to go to the dr.

Heck yeah, I went to my first apointment this morning and everything was fine. I made this appointment 12/14 and it seemed forever. Just hang in there.

I was a pile of nerves since I had a m/c and conceived immediately after. It didn't go away until he was born! It got better, but never without worry.
Everyone involved in our care was very nice about my neurotic behavior.
