Was your gut instinct right about gender?

My mom said that she read somewhere that a high percentage of pregnant moms who predicted their child's gender were right. My mom said she knew my brother was a boy. My coworker said she knew her daughter was a girl. And ny best friend knew her son was a boy.

Regardless of what people said you looked like in the way you carried, was your gut instinct right? The feeling you had after you realized the stick turned the color it was supposed to...

I knew I was having a boy because ALL my friends have girls and I KNEW I had to be the odd one out...it is the story of my life!!!

But I have a STUNNING little boy...just a fantastic gorgeous one. (if I may say so myself)

Re: Was your gut instinct right about gender?

Ok, I'm not going to lie, I was hoping that I would have a girl. I know, I know, I shouldn't have hoped that, but I did. So, I think to offset the fact that I really wanted a girl, I convinced myself I was having a boy, but secretly, I knew I was having a girl. If you've followed that, then my answer is YES, my gut was correctChat Icon

I was 100% correct. I knew I was having a girl the minute of my BFP. Everyone thought I was having a boy. They would rub my belly and say "Hi...little boy" and I would think AAAAHHHH stop calling her a boy!

Re: Was your gut instinct right about gender?

I think my gut said boy but b/c everyone constantly told me it was a girl ( and all people who are "always right" about that stuff) that I convinced myself I was having a girl.

Absolutely!!! The moment I found out I was pregnant I knew I was having a boy and I was right. I would of been shocked if the tech had said I was having girl.

Re: Was your gut instinct right about gender?

I would say 95% of people commented and thought I was having a boy - to the point that I was even convinced that I was having a boy - because I was all belly, face didn't change - well - long and behold - when doctor said "its a girl" we were all surprised - but very very happy !

Re: Was your gut instinct right about gender?

Nope, I thought Chat Icon , but along came Logan...I read a study that asked 5 year olds to predict gender and they were something like 90% correct. The summer I was pregnant I asked all my 5 year old speech children what their prediction was, and they were all 100% correctChat Icon
