wash baby cloths ?

I dont know if im shrinking her cloths or shes very tall (dh 6'1" and im 5'). She will be 3 months old on the 22 and shes in 3-6 m clothing. I put 6m outfit on her yesterday (my sis says it was a small 6m, but still)... I wash in cold on delicate and then low tumble dry like the clothing says..

I dont want to hang the clothing b/c i have a cellar (cement walls and floor)not a basement, cloths get that moldy smell down there, and the sweater rack i have is too small for all her cloths.

How do you wash ??

Do you have a permanent press setting on your machine? That's why I used to dry them.
