WASHER/DRYER question... Girls w/ apartments or co-ops/condo's!!
Hi ladies..
Our soon to be new landlord is allowing us to have a washer/dryer in the apartment (YAY). His words were "hey, if you can find a place for it go ahead". I looked around the kitchen and there is no room right by the sink.
This is the layout..
Countertop....sink...dishwasher...countertop.
There is room ACROSS from the sink, maybe 4 feet away?... So my question is, is it possible to still hook up the washer/dryer?
Thanks in advance!
ETA: If it matters, it will be a stackable washer/dryer. Dryer will be electric.

Re: Washer/dryer installation question!
Well you have to think not only about water but a vent for the dryer. So it should be near a window or outside wall. You can get the portable washers that hook up to the sink but let me tell you they travel across the floor when they spin.
The dryer can be vented out the window but then you will have to have some sort of panel made so the window isn't open all the time and in the winter it may get really drafty

Re: Washer/dryer installation question!
Thank you so much for your reccomendation... My hubby was actually telling me about these 2 in ones, rather than the stackable.
Can you give me any feedback on it? Do you like it? Ive heard it takes forever to was/dry clothes.. is that true?

This is the one that my old upstairs neighbor had and when it would spin it would literally shake the house and make things fall of my shelves and pictures fell of the walls.

she might have had an older model- but this is brand new... we live on a second floor as well and we've asked our neighbors and they dont even know when we are doing laundry.

Thanks girls.... My dad is good with these things and I just spoke to him he said as long as there is a window we're fine (venting purposes). He said for the water he will just get a extra long hose and it'll be fine.
