Washing Machine Smells

How can I "clean" the washing machine?
I leave the lid open to "air dry" after each load, but, there is still a funny smell.

Any advice is appreciated.

I've heard you can run a 'load' of nothing and just use bleach.

I have the same thing (front loader) and we leave the door open for like 2 days after the last load. By the time I'm ready to close it, I need to use it again. I haven't tried no-load bleach thing yet but it makes sense.
