Washing toys

Do you wash DC's new toys before allowing them to play with them? If so what do you use?

Re: Washing toys

Someone posted a few days ago about Clorox Anywhere spray...I got it and it works great. You should try it... it is specifically made to use on children's toys...

Pampers makes a spray on thing that I got at BRUs and when she was an infant I used to use that on all her new toys. As she has gotten older and stopped putting everything in her mouth I haven't been that dilegent about it.

I used the pampers spray on stuff for that. It was recommended and it says and I was told totally safe as soon as it dries! I used that on EVERY stuff animal she owns and all of those rattle things too!

Yes with a little warm water and dish soap. If its a stuffed animal or something (right now they're only small ones) I throw it in the wash with their clothes and Dreft. I wouldn't want them putting things in their mouths or even touching toys that who knows where they've been?!

Re: Washing toys

I never cleaned them before giving, only a couple of things.

But I need to know how to clean things when a dog picks it up thinking it is its toy Chat Icon
We had a dog visiting this weekend, that isn't trained that Ali's toys are Ali's toys, so she would pick them up. Some that we didn't catch in time, have gone in the gargbage. But others were she just put it in her mouth and we took it away - I would like to know how to clean them Chat Icon
Especially the ones she just got for Christmas Chat Icon
