washington DC?
My husband and I are thinking of taking a trip to go site seeing etc. What is the best way to do this? Id rather fly 1 hour on jet blue then drive. Would we have to rent a car down there or are there shuttles? Where is a really nice but central located hotel? and any restaurant suggestions?
Oh also John was hoping to catch a capitals/rangers game. is there stadium anywhere near that?

We just went. We stayed at The Hampton Inn in Springfield,Va. About 20 minutes from DC. It included a hot breakfast every morning. The hotel was clean and nice. A lot less $$ then staying in the city. I highly recommend it. They had a hotel shuttle to the railroad. We also did a 10 hr tour thru Grayline of the sights. Def, worth it. HTH
