Wasn't Paula Abdul supposed to be part of the halftime show?
I could swear I heard she was. Was she nixed at some point and I missed it?

She "performed" before the start of the game. But it was taped because one minute she's doing her song, next she & Randy were standing with Ryan on the red carpet 
She was stiff as a board and NOT singing.

Wow - she has some nerve judging people. IMO that was on par with Britney's Spears last performance at the VMA's!!!!

yea she was supposed to do it live but got the jitters and stage fright so she asked that it be pre-taped.
it was definitely bad.
