Water District
When you set up your water for the house you were buying, Did they set it up on the phone right away, or did they mail you a card to fill out and send back to them b4 they changed ownership?

I did it on the phone, but we are in Suffolk so I think it's different.
Same thing with LIPA, everything over the phone.

I did it on the phone, but the woman said they were going to send someone to the house to read the meter, and also send me a card to fill out and when they get it back, they put my name down.....as owner.
