Water table or water/sand combo table, which should I get?
I want to get DS a water table for the summer but after looking, I noticed that there are also water/sand table combos. I didn't orginally want anything with sand (not for any particular reason) but started thinking that maybe my little boy would enjoy sand and water. I don't think sand is fun but he might.
Any opinions as to water only or getting a water/sand combo table? Can you recommend which table your DC enjoys? DS will be 19-22 months late spring/summer.
I was liking the Little Tikes Anchors Away Pirate Table.

Water table or a sand table--I have a combo, but never use it for both. Way too messy!
We actually used the water/sand table as a sand table last year and set up DSs baby pool for water play--we also used the sprinklers which he liked.

We got a water/sand table but sand is WAY too messy for us, so we only put water in it.

the only sand my kid is able to play with is the kind that is naturally found on the beach. I am planning a sand-free home.
We got him a little water activity table. Water is great. It doesn't stick between your diaper and it dries up!
now, water + sand together? I can't even imagine it without breaking into a sweat. But if it works for you, do it!

We have a water/sand table, but after using it just a few times with water and sand, we started only using it with sand.
At the time, we were trying to use it to help DS with some of his sensory issues - he didn't want to touch the sand, eventually he grew to like playing with it. So much so, that he has been asking me over the last few weeks to play in it. The downside is that he likes to pour the sand on the driveway sometimes, but that isn't really that big of a deal to me.

We have a water/sand table. When we put both water and sand in it, it turned into a mud table!
This year I think we will just do water or sand,.... not both.
