Waterproof Digital Camera
Does anyone have one? I know that Pentax and Olympus make point and shoots just wondering if any one else knows of any other brands or has experience with this. TIA

Some digital cameras you can buy waterproof cases for which allow for certain depths. HTH

I have the Olympus Stylus 720 (there is a newer version out now). It's waterproof & shockproof... we took it on our honeymoon and got amazing underwater pics & video! Everyone looked at us like we were crazy dunking our camera underwater without a case. We have it over a year and 1/2 and still love it.

I have the Hero waterproof camera. It's a lot smaller than the Olympus and there's no view screen but it works great. I was looking at the Olympus but couldn't quite pull the trigger for the cost.

Does it take nice pictures out of water too? I was looking at the 790.

Is it digital?
Yes it is. It takes about 200 pics on a 2AA battery and holds about ???. (The battery ran out before I had a chance to find out but in one sitting there were over 50 pics). Like I said the down side is there is no screen to view the picture after you take it. The up side is it has a wrist strap (like a watch) so you can't loose it, and takes a beating in the surf.
