We adopted a kitten yesterday
I wonder how many couples dealing with infertility adopt a pet! My husband fell in love with a kitten we saw outside his aunt's house on Saturday night. We considered taking it and bringing it in for shots, etc., but we would have had to bring it yesterday and none of the ASPCA mobile centers were available because they were predicting the snow. He was so into it, though (unlike him) and wanted to go to the shelter yesterday to look. So, we did and we now have a very timid 4 month old kitten named Mika!

omgosh! so cute! post pics  we have a cat already but i'll admit that since we've been dealing with all our pregnancy losses, we've gone to look at kittens more than once  dh never lets us walk out with one though

awwww sooo cute!!!
we were going to get a kitten.... we have 2 cats now and wanted a 3rd little kitten. We procrastinated and then got a BFP. but I still want that new kitten one day!!!

I've been trying to upload pictures, but they're too big. I took them on my iPhone and I'm trying to upload from my Mac after syncing my phone to the computer. I'm not sure how to resize them.
She is just barely starting to warm up to us, but has been very skittish since we got her. I imagine our experience with her is just a tiny representation of what adopting a baby must be like.
