We announced to DH's family today
His sister and SIL both knew we were doing IVF. His nephew's wife saw my announcement on here (I didn't even know she was a member!!) so it seemed time to me -- we are only 8 weeks but you can't expect people to keep secrets! And both SILs asked me so so so, anything new?? I can't fake it that long.
So I put out a bowl of M&Ms that say:
Pink M&M: Kara & Bill are
Blue M&M: Having a BABY!
It was really sweet, everyone seemed so genuinely happy. This will be grandchild #13 - and the youngest is 9 - for DH's family. His mom and 2 SILs cried... I was really touched.
Then I called my 2 brothers - one more to tell. It is great to get the news out finally. Now I have a LOT of people praying for Baby P!!!!!

I loved when we told everyone~I wish I videotaped it..I had my mom, mil, and sister crying..to one of my best friends jumping up and down in the lobby of a movie theater.
