We are going to get our DDs ears pierced in an hour...Please tell me to just relax!!
I dont know why but I am so nervous.....she is 6 months old so now is the best time to do it i guess but I am so nervous for my baby face....

I did DD's at 5.5 months and I was so nervous too. It was so fast and I think it took like 2 minutes (not kidding either). She cried when she got it but as soon as I stood up with her and looked at her she was fine and has never touched them. I still have the earings in. I did loose one and I was frantic but it was my fault (she was wearing a spagetti strap dress and I it pulled it out somehow) but we found it and I put it back in and she still didn't touch it and she is 12 months now. GL..she is going to look adorable

My advice is to have them do both ears at the same time.
That is how we did my daughters (at 6 months) and it was great. Don't get me wrong she cried but only for a second and she (and I) did not have to go through it a second time.

Good luck mommy... Just remember not to get apprehensive b/c she will sense it!
I agree with one of the PP.... give her some Tylenol - it'll def help!

It was harder on me then it was for Julia when we took her at 3 months, but she only cried for a few seconds, it wasn't bad at all, she was fine by the time we put her in the car! Just make sure you wash them good everyday, and tell family and friends not to touch them--lol

Give her something before you take her so it will help with the pain right away.
I'm taking my DD at the end of August she'll be 3 months I know I'll be shakin in my shoes lol
