We booked Eden! Lancaster help!

Thank you for all of the information! We now booked Eden for 3 days.

Our DD is 2.5. I definitely want to spend one day at the hotel and go out to dinner. I am wondering if Dutch Wonderland is a whole day thing? Is it ok for her age group?

I also want to try the Strasburg Railroad. What seating option did you take? Can I just do the coach car ride?

Any other things we should hit up? I definitely want to go to the Turkey Hill experience!

Which Amish restaurant is best?

millers smorgasbord or shady maple smorgasbord have amazing amish food for breakfast lunch or dinner, but be sure to check the hours because they stop serving at certain times. if you want a sit down family style amish meal, then good n plenty or plain n fancy.

cherry crest farm is great. you can spend a whole day there.

kitchen kettle village is cute, buggy rides, shops, food, petting zoo, pony rides. across the street is intercourse pretzel they have amazing hot pretzels. you can take a free tour too but its kinds of a waste.

bird in hand market is awesome, lots of food vendors and samples to taste. only open a few days a week so check ahead.

Definitely do Dutch wonderland. Perfect for her age. If you go the last 3 hours one day, your ticket is good for all of the following day. We did that and it was great. We were able to scope out the Park the might before and plan better for the next day. You could definitely spend a whole day there. It's big and they have a water play area that is great for that age.

plain n fancy is the best amish restaurant! I also loved good n plenty!
you cant go wrong with either but Plain n fancy is cheaper and I liked it better. - I think it is 16.99 per adult for all you can eat. its not a buffet, its a family style meal with a TON of food and awesome desserts.

we haven't taken any train rides at Strasburg yet.
have fun!

dutch wonderland is an all day thing. if you go during the summer, there is a splash ground area. kids loved it!
and there are plenty of rides and shows to check out, so you want to take your time.one day is more than enough though.
