We bought our first home!
So Ive finally wandered over here from parenting, and I think i'll be here a lot more often 
My DH and I just bought our first house in Danbury, CT (King Street neighborhood if anyone is familiar).
We just dropped a butt load of money at Bobs because we have NO furniture (coming from a SMALL 1 bdrm hole in the wall to a 2600 sq. ft house  )
We had a contractor out to the house yesterday to assess, he's going to get back to us tonight with a quote  
Its a beautiful, WARM raised ranch with tons of windows, property that goes on and on, a great inground pool, 3 car garage, 3 bed/2 bath + a guest room, LR, FR, sunroom ... and good bones that just need some TLC
