thanks, we were low on funds this weekend, so this was our project.
I did find something great though. Pumpkin strobe lights, safer than candles. I got them at shoprite for 3.99 a piece. they run on batteries.

I love them!!! I love making them too...how do you get them to last until Halloween? I am planning on doing mine next week.
As you can see to the right, last year my theme was Nightmare Before Christmas.

I read that during the day you are suppose to wrap them in saran wrap and keep the in the fridge. I haven't done that yet. also soaking in the tub. I am sure ours will be rotten by the 31st.

I know lighting candles makes them rot faster (all the heat). So maybe use a battery operated light instead, only light it for a little while. Refrigeration should help too.
