We got a puppy!!
We've had her a few weeks now...total impulse thing and I don't recommend this for the record.
Story: Walking into Petco to get something for C's beta bowl. See boy(22yo) walking out with puppy on leash - ooh and aah over very cute puppy, cute puppy licks C to death, boy tells me story of puppy he can't keep. His friend rent an upstairs apt, lady downstairs gets this pup, throws it in backyard and just leaves it there through that Northeaster we had before Halloween. Friend tells this boy, the two of them go down, knock on woman's door and tell her they are taking puppy cuz she's neglecting it, She says "good, i don't want it anyway". Now boy has to find home for puppy and guess who went home and spoke to DH, then called boy to do a trial run for a few days....
She's great!! Her name is Stormy - she is a sweetheart but is petrified to be left outside alone and we practically have to drag her out when it's raining. Otherwise, she's awesome. She has blended in beautifully. Vet thinks she's a pit/pointer or pit/boxer but says we can't tell for sure til she's around 6 months.

What a great story with such a happy ending. Stormy is toooooo cute!
eta: not great that he was left outside during the norester, but great how he was rescued by the boys and yourself!
