We Got A Puppy!!!!! Update First Full Day!
It's been in the works for a few days, but I didn't want to post about it in case it didn't work out but....
IT DID!!!!!
His name is Captain. DH was talking to his coworker about everything and he said he had a friend that had a puppy that he couldn't keep.
So we met the dog and he was awesome!!!! He's 5 months old, golden retriever, sooooo sweet! He came home today!!! Here's a picture I took on my phone, better pictures to come!!
Update: Wednesday, June 11, 2008
Today was our first full day with Captain. He's been great! He loves DD and he hasn't had an accident in the house yet! (Knock on wood!). He's really sweet and loves to be petted and loves to play with his tug-of-war rope.
So far so good, I couldn't have asked for a better behaved puppy. I'm worried that he's just being polite though, lol. Image Attachment(s):

I am a Golden mommy, so let me know if you have any questions at all! They are the sweetest, most gentle dogs and great with kids. My Casey was housebroken within a few weeks of us having her home (except for recently when she was sick  ).
Make sure he has lots of chew toys and exercise. They love to run and play games.
