We have another fetal echo scheduled today!!
I would love/appreciate any good vibes, thoughts etc...
The last echo confirmed our intial diagosis of Hypoplastic Left Heart.
We were, however, told the baby had a variation of the "classic" case. The doc pretty much said this is neither good nor bad just "different". Basically, a classic case refers to a normal grown right and a smaller grown left. Our baby has a little larger than normal right and a very small left. They are also pretty concerned about the pulmonary arteries, they were very small as well.
The cardiologist and the surgeon, however, are pretty hopeful the arteries will grow and I am going on 28 weeks now, we should see some postitive results today.
Of course our biggest wish is that we may one day see a fully formed heart!!!! We are still praying for that miracle!!!!
