We have our first diaper rash..

Well, we made it 364 days before he got one, I knew it was inevitable at some point

So, I have been alternating A&D and Butt Paste, is there anything else I can do for him?

Impressive you made it this long!

I usually use triple paste-clears it up quick but what you're doing should do the trick too...

When Lucas got his first diaper rash I was so disappointed...it was when he had the stomach virus. I had tried so hard to prevent it - but I guess it was bound to happen.

Butt paste is great and really helped DS. His was pretty bad so I used some Lotrimin AF twice a day (first diaper and last) but that is meant for fungal...when I asked the ped he looked and said Lucas had just plain old diper rash but that it was fine to use the Lotrimin since his rash had the potential to go that route. Personally, I can't recommend to use it but it did help Lucas.

I was very generous with the butt paste and directed daycare to be equally generous when applying. It cleared in within a week.



Poor C3....Birthday boys can't have diaper rash! I hope this clears up soon...just lather him down!
