We helped a lost dog last night!
first off let me say I am NOT a dog person.....they kind of scare me. So last night, my DH and I and some of our company is sitting in the backyard and this big husky looking dog walked in the backyard. It scared the crap out of me. he walked in...sniffed around and then walked out. he was mostly white with some brown. We all agreed that he was a house dog...he was too clean!! 
So after he walked out of the backyard, my DH and I went to look for him because he had tags on and we live on a busy street and I didnt want the dog to get hurt!! Well after about 20 mins and 5 yards later, we found him, read the tags and saw that he was really a she!!
The dogs name is Zoe. So I called the number on the tag and told the person on the phone that I had Zoe. She lives right around the corner!! The family came and got her 5 mins later!
All ended well thanks to you guys on the Pets board. I never would have thought to look at the tag,..or even to help the lost dog!!

a little update....My DH and I saw Zoe last night out for a walk (on a leash this time!! ) and she came right up and licked my DH's hand!! 
guess she knows she has a friend around the corner now!!

that was so nice of you! Its funny bc I just posted about a husky that roamed into my uncles yard while we were there for a BBQ. But this dogs name was Sheba
