we just bought an entire room full of furniture!!!! with pics!!
DH's dream room is finally coming true. this is something he has wanted forever. we went to home appliance and loved everything they had there! here's what we got:
fireplace mantle
reclining sofa (but in dark brown)
reclining loveseat (in dark brown)
46 inch sony bravia
i can't wait for it all to come!!! and the best part is we have 18 months to pay it off!!!

we went to the store in oceanside. i really wanted a different mantle, but our surround sound receiver is half an inch bigger than the shelf, so this was the one we went with. they have a great selection!

does the fireplace mantle get hot? like too hot for the electronics? i assume not, they wouldn't advertise it like that if it were.
i think we are going to have to take a look at that store! i never knew it was there.

It looks so nice & comfortable. How great that you were able to get everything for the whole room in one place like that! I'd love to see pics when you get everything set up.

I lived in Oceanside and always passed by that store on long beach rd. but never went in. How are the prices? I'll have to let my parents know about it.

the prices weren't bad at all. we went to so many stores. i'd say the prices were in the middle-low/middle range, but there were things that were $$$$$ as well as $.
i will definitely post pics when it's done! it should be here in 2-5 weeks but the tv is coming this week.
it doesn't get too hot for electronics. it blows out heat, but it's perfectly safe for a baby, as well as DH's toys  i was concerned since my son is crawling, but it doesn't get hot to the touch
