We just started looking....
We just started looking in NJ this past weekend and we already found our dream house! Seriously...the price is right and so is everything else. Everyone keeps telling us that we need to look at other places, but something is just telling us to go for this one before it's gone! What do we do???

Have you seen any other houses?
If you FEEL this is the right house for you, it fits everything you are looking for, and it's in your price range -- I say go for it!!! Good luck!

Put an offer on it and while you're negotiating try to look at a few more houses. If this one is really *it*, you'll know for sure when you see what else is out there.

yes, we saw about 5 others on Saturday as well. I think we are going to look next weekend, and then we'll have that many more houses to compare to our "dream house". I just hope that nobody else buys it in the mean time!

I agree with this. I didn't realize you saw a few things already. There's no harm in putting in an offer to show interest and looking again next week. If it's meant to be yours, it will be!

get the comps for the neighborhood from the realtor and if you think you got the price you should pay-buy it. No need to go nuts when you love something.

sorry, but what does getting the comps mean? I'm new to this
Your agent can pull a list together of what other houses in the area were listed for and what they sold for, and how many days they were on the market.

We had only looked at about 5 houses when we found ours. If you feel its the right one then don't let it get away!
