We leave for Willow Valley tomorrow--Can Ethan go in the pool with me--5 months old?
Do you think it's okay if I let him in the pool?
Do I HAVE to buy swimmer diapers? What happens if I put him in a regular diaper?

The reg diaper will be no good

He can definitely go in the pool. I am sure he will love the pool!! You do need to buy swim diapers though, regular diapers won't work. Have fun!

DS is almost 3 months and we're going away this weekend and next month and I plan on bringing him in the pool. But you are going to need to get swimming diapers, otherwise regular diapers fill with water and leak all of those little gel balls. It's a mess! Plus all pools do require kids being in proper swim diapers.

DS was 4 months when we went in the pool for the first time. he loved it!! have fun

we didn't bring em into a chlorinated pool until after 6 months (actually, she was more like 9 and 1/2 months).... i did some reading on the instances of chlorine exposure & asthma and there are some links... considering i have asthma, i didn't want to give her any more 'help' in that arena.

Yes, take him in the pool, but ABSOLUTELY get swim diapers, the regular one will puff out and then disintegrate and be DISGUSTING
