We left her for the first time
Today is our one year anniversary so our good friend offered to babysit Alex last night so we could go out to dinner and celebrate. I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous and we pretty much rushed through dinner, but it was a huge success! We came back and Alex was sleeping soundly in her arms

Awww happy anniversary-glad thing went well..
Ive left Ryan a few times...everyones b-day (including DH)was the past couple of weeks..I rushed through everything, and was miserable the entire time.
The only time ive been ok w/ it, is when Im just leaving him to go food shopping or something!
I wonder if it ever starts to get easy!

I'm so glad that you had a sucessful dinner! It is nice to do things on your own sometimes. As much as we LOVE mommyhood -- it's nice to do something nice with your DH sometimes too.
